Site Guidelines
Spirit Talks is run on the
Golden Rule, a rule present
in nearly every religion:
"Do unto others as you would
have them do unto you."

We have a few reasonable
rules to help to make sure
that the Golden Rule, well,
Rules.
Common courtesy is expected
of all guests.
Swearing, while not banned,
should not be commonplace.
Everyone should choose one
name and stick with it.
Changing names confuses
other chatters and is akin
to making fun at their
expense. If you do
change your name please tell
everyone that you've done so
when you enter and when
someone who knows you
enters.
Impersonating anyone is not
allowed. Giving
yourself a title for the
chat such as Reader, Healer,
Staff, etc. when not
designated by the site
staff, is not allowed.
If you are listed in the
chat room, please be there
and aware. Readings
may come for you and people
may talk with you.
It's rude to be unavailable
to answer should that
happen. Please be
courteous and attentive
during your readings and
courteous during readings
given to others.
While chatting is not
expected to be reverent at
all times, please limit talk
of adult subjects. A
comment now and then is one
thing. A talk that
dominates a room changes the
energy.
Readings by guests are more
than welcome. However,
unless you are a site
certified reader, we ask
that you not offer readings
without a Guide present.
Applications to become
certified can be found
here.
Please don't enter the chat
unless you are 18 or older
unless we have permission
from your parents or
guardians to allow you in.
We firmly believe in the
choice of parents to guide
their children in matters as
controversial as these, and
won't help kids to usurp
their parents' guidance.
Permission information is
here.
There is a Mediumship
guideline called "CERT" that
our readers are expected to
follow as closely as
possible.
You can find
CERT information here.
It allows our guests to know
almost without doubt that
their loved one has come
calling and gives our
readers a chance to grow in
their abilities.
All readings are for
entertainment purposes only.
