19. The Gift Of Impermanence

In the impermanence of life, we often focus on what we will lose. Yet, for every high there is a low. And for every low, a high. The mystery lies in the time spent in each phase, yet one truth remains: this too shall pass. May we remember that hardships and pain are temporary. Though they may feel heavy in the moment, the knowledge that they are not permanent offers solace. Let us find peace in the shifting sands, remembering always that the ocean—the eternal presence—is constant.
